Senior Sales Representative

City: Portland / State: Oregon

Job Description and Responsibilities

EVRAZ NA is currently looking for a Senior Sales Representative at our Portland, OR location.  

  • Order solicitation, pricing, quotations, order write up, expediting, claims processing and telephone work
  • Taking responsibility for special accounts and projects
  • Developing relationships with actual and potential customers to enable EVRAZ to secure the greatest volume of profitable sales
  • Keeping current on industry trends including pricing, product development, policies, company changes and report significant information to sales management and outside sales representatives
  • Review purchase orders and change order packets for other Inside Sales Representatives to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to management approval
  • Lead the inside sales team to pursue sales goals set forth by management



Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or commensurate experience
  • 3-5 years of inside sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and adaptability to deal with opposing opinions and effect compromise
  • 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing sales and customer service expertise, preferably metals related
  • A well-organized self-starter, capable of effectively budgeting time to meet priorities
  • Time Management skills demonstrated ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy and functionality
  • Computer literate with experience in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel on occasion, as required
  • Willing to work extended hours to meet objectives
  • Must have a professional appearance
