Job Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who will be an integral part of our finance team in preparing financial reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include:

  • Preparing monthly forecast updates
  • Analyzing monthly results for cost, sales and other key business indicators
  • Researching for variance explanations compared to forecasts and budgets
  • Making recommendations for improvements in the business
  • Reviewing cost center spending weekly and monthly with cost center managers
  • Working with accounting to ensure all costs are accurate to support the financial close
  • Preparing annual budget files with feedback from all department leaders
  • Providing support to various departments through ad-hoc requests
  • Developing financial models to support business decision making
  • Assisting with special business related studies and financial analysis as required
  • Assisting with special projects as needed



Job Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
  • MBA or MBA candidate, preferred
  • CMA/CPA/CFA, preferred
  • Two years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be an advanced user of Excel
  • Experience with Hyperion and Oracle EPBCS a plus
  • Knowledge of and experience with financial modeling preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and be highly organized
  • Must be detail oriented, analytical, a problem solver and creative thinker
