Job Description and Responsibilities

EVRAZ NA currently seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Headquarters office located Downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Consolidate EVRAZ NA forecast/budget, review divisional results and analyze divisional financial performance.
  • Prepare standard monthly reporting dashboards.
  • Conduct detailed monthly financial review of costs, sales, key performance indicators and other financial measurements, to ensure accurate and reliable management reporting.
  • Analyze actual, forecast, plan and budget variances and provide clear and concise explanations that identify the business reason for the variances.
  • Prepare direct and indirect cash flows for EVRAZ NA Consolidation reporting.
  • Manage and maintain system generated Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain budget and forecast for Headquarter Cost Centers; Work in conjunction with the organization to ensure budget/forecast accuracy and attentiveness.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to continually improve forecast and budget accuracy.
  • Support the EPBCS System Administrator and perform general system maintenance.
  • Prepare monthly operational/financial performance presentations.
  • Develop financial presentations for Board and other external parties (e.g., banks, auditors).
  • Develop financial models depicting key financial and operational relationships.
  • Assist with special business related studies and financial analysis as required.
  • Assist with special projects on an as needed basis.

 



Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • At least five (5) years experience in a Finance or Accounting role
  • Must have manufacturing experience (understanding of cost accounting and cost allocation)
  • Must have financial consolidation, reporting, cash flow and working capital analysis experience
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Systems and Hyperion is strongly desired
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards strongly desired
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles is strongly desired
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a self-starter with initiative to work independently
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, analytical, problem solver and creative thinker
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; Results driven, able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Pro-active mindset and good communication skills, team oriented, collaborative working style.
  • Ability to function in a fast pace environment with changing deadlines and priorities. Ability to multi-task.
  • CMA and/or CFA certification a plus
