Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Asset Maintenance Administrator to join our growing team located in Pueblo, Colorado.  This position requires a person with strong maintenance project planning skills. The successful Senior Asset Maintenance Administrator will be able to effectively manage and develop plans for inspections, monitoring and evaluation of results. The plans are to drive to a predictive and preventative maintenance CMMS program for assigned assets.

  • Support Supervisors and Asset Maintenance Coordinators with inspections, predictive and preventive maintenance tools for assigned assets utilizing vibration analysis, thermographic imaging, ultra sound, laser alignment, etc
  • Manage technical documentation for assigned tasks
  • Develop plans for inspections, predictive and preventive maintenance for assigned assets
  • Prepare, monitor and evaluate results from equipment inspections
  • Assist Superintendent and General Supervisors in the development of maintenance budgets for assigned assets including maintenance CAPEX repair projects and inventory management
  • Assist maintenance supervisors and asset maintenance coordinators I the planning and execution of planned downtime activities, including outages
  • Establish equipment criticality and technical status for assigned assets
  • Understand equipment technologies and limitations and their effect on safety, quality, productivity and costs.
  • Keep maintenance staff informed on inventory, assets, budget and cost control, working closely with central maintenance accountant
  • Train staff members at the use of Oracle CMMS systems
  • Effective management of external resources and lead continuous improvement projects
  • Assist and Lead a staff of 8-10 Asset Maintenance Coordinators and 5 Expeditors



Job Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience within heavy industry and/or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, both mechanical and electrical
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle CMMS systems or related
  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, Projects and PowerPoint
  • Proven teamwork, communication (oral and written), administrative and organizational skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be available to be on call and assist personnel in times of emergency and business needs
  • Must be able to lead, train and direct a staff of 8-10 Asset Maintenance Coordinators and 5 Expeditors
