Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Radiographer Assistant to join our team in Portland, Oregon. In this role the successful individual will be able to perform x-ray of pipe-end SAW welds with a CR (Fuji) radiographic system.



Job Requirements

  • Level I Ultrasonic Certification to SNT-TC-1A with minimum 400 hours of documented OJT
  • Must be able to pass the Math Skills Test
  • Certification to basic in-house radiation safety training course required
  • UT experience in lamination/thickness testing and/or radiographic experience with API 5L, AWS or equivalent is desirable
  • 20/22 Corrected Near Vision in both eyes (tested annually)
  • Strong attention to detail, close observation and concentration skills
  • Excellent decision making, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, mechanical aptitude
  • Completion of Basic Math Assessment required
  • Able to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise
  • Overtime and shift work required


Preferred

  • Current IRRSP Radiation Safety Certificate a plus
