Job Description and Responsibilities

 

EVRAZ NA has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Clerk. This role is responsible for quality assurance activities associated with Material Test Reports (MTRs), Training Records, Quality Management System (QMS) documents, and Standard Operating Procedures. Additional responsibilities include; assistance with shipping and inventory control activities. The Quality Assurance Clerk works closely with the quality assurance and shipping technical teams, mechanical testing lab, shipping department, sales, and human resources.   • Create and manage customers’ Material Test Reports (MTRs)
  • Document management and records control
  • Maintain training records
  • Administrative assistance for Quality Management System (QMS) activities
  • Support developing training material for all operation activities
  • Coordinate activities for Thread and Pipe schools (classrooms, material, records, etc.)
  • Set up product tallies for production lines
  • Assign product to orders
  • Pipe tally data entry
  • Reconcile inventory counts
  • Complete post production inventory



 



Job Requirements

 

  • High school graduate, preference give to candidates with post-secondary education
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn and work with proprietary software programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to professionally interact with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to set/meet goals and deadlines
