Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our growing team, located in Pueblo, Colorado.  The Project Administrator will be responsible for the overall business and administration management of the site, including personnel management, and interfaces with local authorities for personnel administration and statutory issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and implements procedures for administrative matters at the field office
  • Directs and supervises all administrative matters at the field office, including camp operation
  • Ensures the payment of foreseen allowances and the stipulation of the contract for accommodation
  • Oversees the transportation and facilities for people
  • Manages security issues by establishing security plans, including evacuation plans, and coordinates with government departments including embassies
  • Supervises the preparation of monthly accounting status reports, field fund request
  • Assures the application and receipt of all necessary general governmental permits and licenses
  • Handles legal matters pertaining to such problems as contractual claims, labor strikes, etc
  • Contracts and keeps amicable relations with related outside organizations, such as governmental agencies, media, and local communities
  • Establishes necessary systems and takes preventive measures to protect field office personnel and facilities against any possible danger or peril
  • Supervises Human Resource Coordinator in accordance with Project Director’s instruction
  • Supervises Camp Manager and upon discovery of safety/health violation or environmental management problem in connection with camp/catering operation, notifies SHES group, takes corrective action, and prepares accident/incident report. Ensures results
  • Completes administration work related to closure of the Site
  • Oversees the coordination of insurance claims information and ensures coordination with insurance company is handled in an efficient manner
  • Ensures the implementation of visitor control measures and the issuance of project ID cards
  • Oversees the compilation of personnel files and evaluation reports
  • Conducts administrative management of vendor representatives
  • Manages site offices
  • Ensures induction of new employees to EVRAZ systems and tools



Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Business degree in Administration or HR, or technical expertise with 10 years of relevant experience
