Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Steelmaking team located in Pueblo, Colorado.  The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and motivating electric furnace personnel toward higher levels of safety, environmental cleanliness, quality and production through strict adherenct to the vision.



Job Requirements

As a Production Supervisor, you must be a highly motivated and effective leader with a strong work ethic and a strong commitment to safety. 
 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in steelmaking
  • Ability to work in a team environment with proven interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Strong problem-solving and proven decision making skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to interact with all levels of our organization
  • Good computer skills in Excel, Word and Oracle
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience in the management of 6S projects and sustaining


 Preferred Experience and Education:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Metallurgy experience
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Experience in Excel worsheet design and use
