Job Description and Responsibilities

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multimedia Designer internship to join our Camrose office.  In this role, you will be developing a media standard, training program standard, and setting the framework for future work and programs.

 

  • Visual designs and concepts for planning course design and support documentation
  • Work alongside internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training course materials provide current and relevant information, while establishing training requirements, standards and schedules
  • Work with SMEs to turn conceptual ideas and design rationale of highly technical content into simpler methods of communication that facilitates learning for new employees



 



Job Requirements

 

  • Student of design—web, marketing, art, or multimedia design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to work and interface with customers, coworkers, management, and contractors 
  • Knowledge of multimedia production tools and methodology and a strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software and hardware 
  • Passion for design in every aspect of the discipline with a special interest in the digital medium
  • Understanding of existing and emerging digital channels
  • Ability to craft graphic elements, assets, and visual treatments that work with responsive design systems
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a team environment, yet also able to take direction well and approach each project with flexibility and creativity
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills, and work ethic
