Maintenance Planner

City: Regina / State: Saskatchewan

Job Description and Responsibilities

EVRAZ is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Regina maintenance team. The successful candidate will be an excellent project manager with experience managing and developing plans for maintenance downturns as well as predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling in a fast paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role will also develop plans for inspections including monitoring and evaluating results. Relevant experience in a fast paced heavy industrial manufacturing environment is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans for weekly maintenance downturns, major plant shut downs, and CAPEX repair projects
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate results from equipment inspections
  • Manage technical documentation for assigned tasks, performing equipment administration as required
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for assigned tasks
  • Develop budgets for assigned assets including capital expenditure (CAPEX) repair projects
  • Establish equipment criticality and technical status for assigned assets



 



Job Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience working as an Industrial Engineer, Journeyman Electrical or Mechanical craftsperson or as maintenance facility coordinator in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of equipment technologies and limitations and their effect on safety, quality, productivity and cost
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermographic imaging, ultra sound, laser alignment, etc.)
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawing Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Projects and PowerPoint
  • Proven teamwork, communication (oral and written), administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
