Inside Sales Representative

City: Pueblo / State: Colorado

Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our growing Rail & Semi-Finished Products Team. Initially, this role will be located in Pueblo, Colorado. However, we are seeking ambitious individual with the desire to grow within our organization and the willingness to relocate to one of our customer’s location in the future.

This position will be responsible for Forecasting, Customer Order Entry, Shipping, Claims, Requisitions/Receiving, Reporting, Managing Contracts and ICustoms Paperwork. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Professionally represent EVRAZ with an assigned group of Rail and Wheel customers
  • Set targets and solicit business in support of those targets
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with present and prospective railroad clients
  • Establish favorable working relationships with the buying influences at each account
  • Advise management on strategic moves needed to increase business levels with assigned accounts
  • Maintain market knowledge of competitive factors in the market
  • Importation of Wheels: Draft BOLs, Final BOL, Commercial Invoices, Transfer of inventory in Oracle
  • Adhere to company policy and quality standards, a commitment to excellence, and integrity beyond reproach at all times



Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma with at least five (5) years’ experience in Railway Logistics OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least two to three (2-3) years’ experience in a role interfacing with customers/ clients
  • Must be willing to relocate to an EVRAZ’s customer location in the future
  • Understanding of railway transportation operations (car movement, logistics, etc.) a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
