Job Description and Responsibilities

 

EVRAZ is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative for our busy Calgary Sales Office. The successful candidate will be detail oriented and solution focused with strong project coordination skills and related inside sales experience. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, Projects Line Pipe, this role is the primary point of contact with the EVRAZ customer base.  This includes, but is not limited to distributors and end users of tubular products.

 

  • Assist in the preparation of bid packages and coordinate details with EVRAZ’s outside sales team
  • Project coordination for all successful bids following EVRAZ’s sales process
  • Handling customer inquiries, ensuring customer support and satisfaction through the sales process
  • Follow up on customer orders with the pipe mill, ensuring order shipments are processed and on time and in full
  • Enter customer orders and maintain pricing databases
  • Relay customer concerns to the appropriate areas throughout the organization
  • Act as the main contact for external and internal customers



 



Job Requirements

 

  • University degree in sales, marketing or a technical degree
  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Team player, organized with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines
