At EVRAZ North America, we manufacture engineered steel products for rail, energy and industrial end markets at six production sites located in the USA (Portland, Oregon; Pueblo, Colorado) and Canada (Regina, Saskatchewan; Calgary, Camrose and Red Deer, Alberta). We are the largest North American producer by volume in the rail and large diameter pipe markets, and we hold leading positions in the Western Canada oil country tubular goods, small diameter pipe and West Coast plate markets.

 

 



Job Description and Responsibilities

 

Buck's Auto Parts is a self-serve auto parts and vehicle recycling facility near Sherwood Park. We require a dedicated person to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will have experience leading high performance teams in a busy environment. If you are someone with a solid work ethic, a record of success, leadership experience and great customer service skills, we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities

  • Staff supervision and leadership
  • Report directly to Site Manager
  • Purchasing
  • Parts counter customer service
  • Prepare your team to operate safely while still focusing on the needs of our customers
  • Drive operational numbers and goals including; processing, shipping and sales
  • Helping customers benefit from our services through part look ups, repair knowledge or similar
  • Safety observations and reporting
  • Response to security calls after hours



 



Job Requirements

 

  • High degree of integrity
  • Must be able to acquire an AMVIC sales person license which includes a background check performed by AMVIC
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated success in a leadership role or as a retail store manager
  • Ability to lead inside and outside the workforce
  • Strong desire and capability to advance weekly and monthly KPI goals
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy and a willingness to be constantly challenged
  • Ability to build and retain a strong team
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of automotive components is an asset
  • Capacity and desire to grow professionally
  • High School diploma and/or GED
  • Must possess work transportation as public transportation is not available to site
