Asset Maintenance Coordinator

City: Camrose / State: Alberta

Job Description and Responsibilities

 

EVRAZ North America is one of the most diversified steel manufactures in North America; headquartered in Chicago, Illinois with manufacturing facilities in the United States (Portland, OR., Pueblo, CO., Claymont, DE.) and Canada (Calgary, Camrose, Red Deer, Alberta, and Surrey, British Columbia). 

The successful Asset Maintenance Coordinator will be able to effectively manage and develop plans for inspections, monitor and evaluate results. The plans should include predictive and preventative maintenance for assigned assets.

  • Develop maintenance budgets for assigned assets including maintenance CAPEX repair project
  • Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for assigned tasks
  • Create plans for maintenance downturns, major plant shutdowns, and CAPEX repair projects for assigned assets
  • Maintain mechanical drawings with updates and corrections resulting from Maintenance repairs and improvements
  • Be responsible to train staff as required

 



 



Job Requirements

 

Successful candidates for the Asset Maintenance Coordinator role must understand manufacturing equipment technologies, limitations, and their effect on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Additional requirements of the Asset Maintenance Coordinator role include:

  • Minimum of five (3) years’ experience working as an Industrial Engineer or Mechanical Technologist or as Maintenance Facility Coordinator in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Projects and PowerPoint
  • Proven teamwork, communication (oral and written), administrative and organizational skills
  • Understanding of equipment technologies and limitations and their effect on safety, quality, productivity and cost
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawing
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermographic imaging, ultra sound, laser alignment, etc.)
  • ACAD experience would be an asset
