Job Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Repair Welder to join our team. In this role, this individual will be responsible for supporting our spiral pipe mill in Portland, Oregon. A successful Repair Welder will be able to analyze the level of repair necessary to remove pipe defects and produce repairs which are acceptable 93 to 100% of the time.



Job Requirements

•Must be able to pass stick welding repairtest, which will inspected with radiographic and ultrasound testing
•Have 20/20 corrected near vision in both eyes (annual testing)
•Possess ability to achieve EVRAZ welding certification
•Are capable of closely monitoring display terminals or equipment with readouts for extended periods of time
•Can work in an environment subject to influctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise
•Available to work any shift and up to 12 hours per day including weekends and holidays

Preferred:

•1-3 years experience in an industrial environment
