Job Description and Responsibilities

 

We are seeking a Quality Systems Analyst to join our Calgary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of quality assurance activities within our tubular products group. This role will facilitate and manage customer and supplier claims, administer non-conformance and corrective actions and provide general administration services for our quality management system (QMS). Candidates with experience offering exceptional customer service, who are creative problem solvers and possess strong analytical abilities are invited to apply.

 

  • Facilitate and manage customer and supplier claims
  • Develop the most satisfactory and cost effective resolution of all types of consumer complaints reported to the sales group
  • Maintain claims database and consumer complaint log and or claims tracking system
  • Develop process improvements to better integrate claims within the quality management system and supporting software systems
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance results and close out complaints during the first call
  • Assist site Quality Assurance staff in resolution and documentation of non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Facilitate utilization of the NCR, QE and CPAR (internal, external, i/c) administration system amongst the quality assurance group
  • Develop process improvements to better integrate within the QMS and the supporting software systems
  • Create summary reports of key performance indicators
  • Provide support to the quality assurance department
  • QMS management support and supporting of the software system
  • Manage QMS level 1 and 2 documents including control and posting
  • QMS audit support
  • Aid in the development of literature to support new product launches and assist in preparing product data sheets on current products
  • Support technical sales regarding the communication of EVRAZ technical information



 



Job Requirements

 

  • University degree in a related field
  • 5 years’ experience in a QMS role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and interpret technical documents, prepare routine reports, and correspondence
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer care; respond promptly to customer requests for service and assistance
  • Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize complex tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and high attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Mathematical aptitude, basic accounting skills
